Custom Blow Molding – OEM Partner Overview
Booling is a China-based OEM blow molding mold manufacturer specializing in custom tooling based on customer-supplied 2D or 3D drawings. We produce fully customized blow molds with complete control over neck finish, wall thickness distribution, and parting line design, ensuring precise alignment with engineering requirements.
We operate strictly under an OEM model—once the mold is fully paid, ownership is permanently transferred to the customer.
We support clients across industrial packaging, chemical containers, automotive components, and structural plastic parts.
Our OEM Client Baseline
Who It Is For
We are not a universal supplier. Our OEM model is best suited for:
- Brands developing proprietary container designs
- OEM / contract manufacturers handling tooling procurement projects
- Distributors managing private-label packaging with full tooling control
- Companies relocating their supply chain and seeking stable OEM partners
- Chemical and industrial packaging companies requiring material certification
- Automotive Tier 2 suppliers producing under-hood or structural blow molded parts
Who It Is Not For
- Buyers focused only on the lowest tooling cost without engineering consideration
- Projects requiring full product design services without drawings or specifications
- Customers requesting 100% payment after trial production before mold ownership transfer
- Buyers selecting off-the-shelf catalog molds
- Extremely low-volume projects (<2,000 cycles/year) where aluminum tooling is more economical

Material Selection Guide for Blow Mold
P20
- Hardness: HRC 28–32
- Application: HDPE/PP production, prototyping, mid-volume runs (<50,000 cycles)
Features:Easier modification (geometry adjustment, neck refinement, re-polishing); Not suitable for highly corrosive or high-wear materials.
H13 (Hot Work Steel)
Hardness: HRC 48–52
Application: high-volume HDPE production (>100,000 cycles), automotive parts, large containers
Features:Higher durability and thermal stability; Better performance under continuous production; Higher modification cost after heat treatment.
S136 (Stainless Steel)
- Hardness: HRC 48–52
Application: PVC, fluorinated HDPE, corrosive environments
Features:Excellent corrosion resistance; Stable surface finish over long production cycles; Higher material cost.
6061 Al
- Strength: medium
- Machinability: excellent
- Application: prototype tooling, low-volume trials, dimensional validation
- Features:Fast machining and iteration; Low modification cost; Not suitable for long-term mass production.
7075 Al
- Strength: close to low-grade steel
- Hardness: higher than 6061
- Machinability: medium
- Application: higher-precision trial molds, mid-volume validation
- Features:Better rigidity than 6061; Still lower wear resistance than steel; Suitable as a transition tooling solution.
